New beginnings.

August 27, 2009

I couldn’t be more frank than that. But I’m not Frank, I’m Kassie, and I’ve come to realize the the entire world is going to shit. As horrible a realization as this is, I’m happy it’s coming at the early age of eighteen instead of a rude awakening when my life has already been formed.

Like always, I got tired of my old blog and decided to start a new one. It’s a awkward habit I’ve yet to break. But I have this strange idea that I have to keep my old blogs like a diary stored in the back of my closet that I’ll find twenty years later. Perhaps this will serve the same purpose, but by then we’ll just talk to computers and they’ll accurately type for us and turn them on by saying “HP on!” Then again, who will use blogs by then?

In Atonement, Briony Tallis is an author that writes twenty-some novelsĀ  in her lifetime and had a love for writing when she was just a girl. The movie starts off with her writing a play, the Trials of Arabella. This blog will be my Trials of Kassie, recently enrolled in a community college and searching for the most knowledgeable way to getting a bachelor’s in secondary english education.

I suppose that’s enough of an intro. There’s not much you need to know except that I like to express my opinions and with an imaginary internet face, I don’t hold back. Enjoy?
